How we got here
With many years of developing business solutions under our belt, in 2013 we adopted the Agile Approach to doing work. Envisioned by a group of software professionals, it was based upon a set of principles and values. These would help inspire practices to address the challenges that plagued the software industry.
Initially adopted by teams developing software solutions, it quickly became apparent that this approach could extend beyond a single team and outside the realm of software development.
A simultaneous revolution in communication and the rise of social networking tools compelled businesses to rethink their concept of a customer. The customer now defined the conversation. Trends and fads could grow and diminish instantaneously. Businesses had to change to meet this new reality. Change could mean more than just minor tweaks or fixes to their strategic plans, marketing models and sales strategies.
Without a radically new approach to their business model, organizations stood at the crossroads of success or failure. Adopting the principles of Agile helped address similar challenges in the software industry. This set of principles can serve as an answer to the new business reality
